In 1986, Michel Rolland and his wife Dany acquired Château Fontenia in the Fronsac Appellation. Traditional methods sit alongside new technologies including malolactic fermentation to create well balanced vintages.
Tasting Notes:
Ruby red colour. With a subtle, floral, peppery nose and notes of leather and spice, rounded and harmonious on the palate, with ripe fruit and delicate wood/vanilla undertone.
Good acid/alcohol balance giving it mineral freshness on the finish.
