Autréau de Champillon – Rose Premier Cru
Soldout
$728.00

The Autréau story began in 1670 in the village of Champillon, where the family began to grow grapes on their estate, these grapes were sold to major houses and negociants. In 1953, Gerald Autréau decided to keep the grapes to produce Champagne on his own.

The vineyard is situated in the heart of the Champagne appellation, with its hillsides overlooking the city of Epernay.

This champagne is based on the daintiness and the elegance of the Chardonnay, the pink colour is deep and asserts the character with hints of blackcurrant and blackberry which enhance this light champagne. on the nose are fine notes of melon and grapefruit.

The taste is meaty, the foam is onctuous and the aromatic after-taste is long.

Grapes:
Chardonnay (85%)  and red grapes from the champagne area.
