Maison Andre Goichot is an independent family winemaker that was founded in 1947 by Andre-Marcel Goignot in Merceuil - Cote d’Or. The Maison has a long terms relationship with many Burgundy winegrowers, covering The Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Wines are selected then matured, bottled and distributed by Maison Goichot.
Each generation strives to promote this know-how, infusing its style to better reveal the grandeur of the terroirs of Burgundy.
Tasting Notes:
Sourced from the Clos des Varoilles, a walled plot owned exclusively by Goichot, this well balanced Pinot offers a real aromatic purity and remarkable structural balance. Firm and loyal, there are aromas of cherry stone and ripe plum. Maturity directs it towards leather, chocolate, pepper, and hints of fur, crushed stone and violet candy. Robust in concentration and framed by firm, penetrating tannins.
At peak from 2025 through 2035, the wine will likely to hold further
