Our Yellow fin Tuna hail from the Mediterranean sea, where they return twice yearly along the coasts of Italy to complete their migratory run from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.

The deep-crimson flesh is virtually unique in the fish world, has a subtle flavour, with a tender texture, very little fat and robust taste, makes this strong powerful agile fish one of the healthiest fish to consume.

Cooking tips
It goes without saying, the fish makes the perfect Sushi, Sashimi and carpaccio when used raw and unadulterated, but it is just as delicious quick seared, grilled or baked.

Top tip
If you are considering baking we advice to marinate the steaks for an hour in an orange juice, soy sauce, and garlic marinade for a wonderful taste.
