Maison Andre Goichot is an independent family winemaker that was founded in 1947 by Andre-Marcel Goignot in Merceuil - Cote d’Or. The Maison has a long terms relationship with many Burgundy winegrowers, covering The Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Wines are selected then matured, bottled and distributed by Maison Goichot.
Each generation strives to promote this know-how, infusing its style to better reveal the grandeur of the terroirs of Burgundy.
Tasting Notes:
In this wine ruby red wine with dark reflections, roast hazelnut precedes ripe, red fruit notes that seem effortlessly to hit the right spot. The palate frank and structured, velvety dark cherry, perfumed with a hint of Amarena. The full-bodied fruit is outlined by a freshness and restores the finesse of the aromas present on the nose that supports this long wine, elevating that sense of pleasure.
