Our King Crabs, are fished in the cold frigid waters around Faroe Island, Norway, within the Arctic circle.
Up to 40% of the total weight is edible, which is high compared to other more familiar crabs. The shell is soft making removing the meat easier.
The legs, where most of the meat is found have large chunks of meat with a nice soft, buttery texture, flakes easily and has a sweet flavour.
