Owned by Gerard and Marie Claude Bonnet, and found in the heart of the Provence, the vineyard is situated around a former Chapel from the 16th Century, on the hills of Chateauneuf du Pape. Where the estate enjoys optimal climate with the unique Mistral wind and very hot and dry summers, ideal terroir and perfect growing conditions.
Tasting Notes:
This intense purple wine has a very complex nose, literally bursting with sunshine fruits, sweet spices, scrubland and humus. that is distinguished by delicate although sturdy tannins, presenting intense and ripe fruity notes.
A wine with a lot of roundness and depth and a typical old vine tannin structure. The finale reveals a surprising length endowed with peppered notes.
Grape:
Southern Rhone blend - it is usually made up of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre.
Serving suggestions:
Decant wine for about one hour before pouring. Serve cool, below room temperature to slow evaporation of the alcohol at around 16–18 º
Pairings:
Perfect with all types of dark red meats, and smoked salmon.
